Our team of veterinary professionals is here to serve the cats and dogs who call the greater Montpelier, VA, area home. Our services include wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, boarding, grooming, microchipping, health and travel certificates, nutrition and weight management, euthanasia, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, parasite testing and prevention, pet dental, surgery including spay and neuter, pain management, in-house pharmacy, and more. DVM and PartnerDr. Alison, along with her husband Dr. Scott, has owned Montpelier Veterinary Hospital since June of 2006. Dr. Alison is a 2002 graduate of Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (Virginia Tech) and did her undergraduate work at Virginia Tech as well. Her interests include wellness care, geriatric medicine, and pocket pets. When Dr. Alison is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, traveling, reading, and gardening. She lives in Glen Allen, Virginia with Dr. Scott, their two daughters Lily and Hannah, their three dogs Lola, Rudy, and Wayne, their blind cat Elphaba (pictured), and their Orange Tabby Ozzie.

His interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, geriatric care, and wellness care. Dr. Scott is an avid Virginia Tech Hokie fan, Redskin fan, and Capitals fan. Besides watching sports, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, reading, fishing, cooking, playing his guitar, collecting and listening to vinyl records, and spending time with his family. He lives in Glen Allen, Virginia with Dr. Alison, their two daughters Lily and Hannah, their three dogs Lola, Rudy, and Wayne, their blind cat Elphaba, and their Orange Tabby Ozzie.
